CASMS Joints ASMS to organize a special workshop of “Career and Collaboration Opportunities in China” (Room 7 AB. 5:45pm - 7:00pm. Wed, Jun 06), which is chaired by Dr. Jun Qu at SUNY -Buffalo and Dr. Andy Tao at Purdue University.
The objective of this workshop is to provide information to those individuals with interest in seeking academic or industrial positions in China. Four distinguished analytical scientists with extensive work experience in China will share their views and thoughts, who are Dr. Rong Wang (CTO of Mass Spectrometry, BIG Genomics), Dr. Eric Yang (VP and Head of Bioanalysis, Immunogenicity & Biomarkers, GSK), Shaolian Zhou (Senior Lead and Global Head of Small Molecule Bioanalytical R&D, Roche), and Dr. Mingshe Zhu (Independent Consultant and Scientific Advisor of Nanjing WuXi AppTec). The workshop will benefit both young and senior scientists in mass spectrometry by providing a unique perspective of job and research opportunities in China and assisting with their career development. The workshop will be mixed with panelist presentations and Q/A session.
